Ichibi Lakeside Lodge Wilderness is a unique lodge in the Wilderness area of the lush Garden Route in South Africa. Hidden away from the bustling local village, The Lodge is within minutes from all surrounding activities and attractions, but offers quiet, tranquil escapes in an exquisite, tasteful setting. With five very special rooms to choose from, we know your stay will be peaceful and rejuvenating. The Lodge offers three standard suites, one luxury suite and one honeymoon suite, each sleeping two or less. The Lodge and its environment is not suitable for children under 10years of age. Photography is my first friend but it struggles with the scale of being able to view three lakes in one shot, a battalion of pine trees that salute the mountains behind, and the constantly changing shadows of the clouds reflecting their own art form in the lake below! Audio is another of my allies, but how to reproduce the sound and thrill of hearing the Fish Eagles cry as they search for their breakfast? In the interior of the lodge we have continued this tranquility with simple natural materials to create a luxurious yet Zen like atmosphere. Our Luxury Suite offers you a bedroom in the main house with grandiose lake views from its own private balcony. Our standard suites offer a bedroom, en- suite with garden views. The rooms are situated on the edge of the plantation, south facing with forest views and offer guests a zen like interior. All the rooms have en-suite shower, bar fridge plus tea and coffee making facilities.
