Throughout its 20 year history, the company has concentrated on its commitment to customer service and has successfully marketed the machines throughout Southern African countries operating via eight carefully chosen sub-Dealerships. Moffett have achieved a 92% market share in the Truck Mounted Forklift industry in Southern Africa. They are all leaders in their industry and they all use Shamrock Handling Concepts as their preferred forklift provider. Competent personnel offer a first class sales and technical service operation ensuring prompt and careful attention to customers’ requirements. Throughout South Africa and the surrounding countries Shamrock offers customer sales, service and forklift spares via a comprehensive network of offices and sub dealerships. A lawyer and accountant, Don operates as a business consultant to small and medium sized clients in various industries. Having lived and worked in South Africa during the eighties, where he was managing director of a well known chemical company for three years, and being a regular visitor to South Africa since 1994, Don is familiar with business success in the country. He was chairman of Moffett Engineering Limited for several years prior to the Moffett family selling their shareholding. It was in this capacity that he established Shamrock Handling and has continued to operate it ever since. The Managing Director, Marius Schutte, has worked with the company since it commenced to trade. A business graduate, he is well known in the Materials Handling Industry in South Africa. Shamrock’s sales, servicing and parts operation in South Africa is situated in Krugersdorp. The Customer Support Manager, Gerald Gouws, has had extensive training in Ireland, Holland and Spain. Gerald supports customers and dealers with technical information and training on our product range. To give the best possible service to our clients, we have a national dealer network across Southern Africa.
