A mere stone's throw away lies the various tandem flight sites as well as the well-known Garden Route hiking trails. Or simply use Shining Waters as a romantic breakaway destination from Port Elizabeth, Cape Town or Johannesburg. Bask in the sun next to our own refreshing pool or enjoy a relaxing walk on the beach only minutes away from the guesthouse. Jon, his four-legged assistant Luna, and staff are on hand to be of service during your stay. At night view the multitude of stars of the southern hemispheres heavens. Other activities such as safaris, canoeing, abseiling & animal parks await you in and around our beautiful Garden Route. Shining Waters is going green, creating a healthy and clean environment, reducing waste and recycling. Departure prior to booked departure will attract full payment of the quoted room rate. Please note we do not accommodate children under the age of 14 years. Children 14 years and older are considered adults and pay full price. Wilderness is situated central to almost everything in the Garden Route. We are ten minutes' drive from George and about twenty minutes away from the George airport. Wilderness is known for whale and dolphin sightings and a favourite destination for paragliding enthusiasts. There are a number of lakes in the area where you might want to partake in various forms of watersport. For our guests, there is a private lounge with tea & coffee facilities, as well as a small study with fitness equipment and free internet access at your disposal. All rates include a scrumptious breakfast fare with fresh fruit, cold meat cuts and cheese buffet.
